The Process

The entire process of qualifying for successful employment as a therapist takes around 8
to 10 months. The first step for an Occupational Therapist educated in a country outside
USA is to get an OTED approval. A minimum score (26 spoken and total 89) in TOFEL is
mandatory for OTED approval.
Master Equivalency Form (MOEF)
We assist in helping the candidate to complete the MOEF in accordance with the
requirement of NBCOT for OTED.
TOEFL
A score of 26 in spoken section and 89 as total is mandatory for being eligible to apply for
OTED. Candidates living in an environment where English is the first language may have
no problems. However, where English is the second language, assistance and coaching
may be needed. If not taken seriously, this can be a major stumbling block. In order to

fees.
OTR EXAM
OTR exam can be taken in India itself. It is a tough examination as the question pattern
is different from what Indian students are accustomed to. The questions are mostly
practical application and involve understanding a process rather than learning it by rote
memory. We organize free online advise to assist the candidates. Company provides

Acculturation
An acculturated candidate is an asset to the US based employer. It is even more
important as in most cases, therapists will be working without supervision. We organize
free coaching / sessions for acculturating our candidates. In addition , on arrival in USA,
candidates are given a free orientation so that they can adjust to their new environment.
